This book is about faith and hope. It is a testimony of encouragement. No matter what circumstances one finds oneself in, faith in our Lord Jesus, is the only way to recovery and restoration in spite of tragedy, hurts, disappointments and heartaches.

Fergus shares what the Lord Jesus did for him and his family when they found themselves in the dark valleys of despair and there seemed no way out. After the sudden loss of his son, Alistair (4 yrs), in a tractor accident, Fergus Buchan as a professional golfer realized that a deal or a bet couldn’t change the outcome of this tragic event.

This, and being treated for malignant melanoma, given only eight months to live, Fergus applied the golden rule of golf – Rule 1-2: Play it as it lies. The promise of the Lord Jesus “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 21:4) is the truth and something the family has held on to since that dark day in 1988 when Alistair went Home to be with Jesus.
