The Will of God | ValWaldeck.comA-Z Challenge 2018

Motivation from the Good Book

Zero to Hero

Commit your actions to the Lord,
and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3

Being in the Will of God is the Safest Place to Be

The Lord has a plan for each one of us. The Bible tells us that He “saw me before I was born.Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed” Psalms 139:16.

We are not “lone rangers” but here for a purpose – to walk in the Will of God and to fit in with God’s Greater Plan for this world and, in so doing, to fulfil our destiny.

Being in the Will of God makes us a Hero in God’s eyes

Even if the world does not recognize us, the Lord smiles on those who obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit and fit in with His plans. When we fulfil the purpose for which we were born, then He is truly glorified in our lives. That makes us heroes in Heaven.

What do God’s Heroes look like?

Micah, an Old Testament prophet, has captured the essence of the Lord’s requirements. He requires only three things from us – to live right, love people, and walk humbly with the Lord. Everything else will fall into place as the Holy Spirit leads us.

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8

May this be our testimony! We’ve heard this song before during the A-Z Challenge, but it is well worth hearing again as we come to the end of the series.
