Jesus Christ: The Saviour Of All Who Believe

Jesus Christ: The Saviour Of All Who Believe

“Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” – Psalm 2:12.

His grace (undeserved favor and mercy) is still extended to the “whosoever will believe”.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16.

Those who receive the Savior receive life. Those who reject God’s Only Way of Salvation will find themselves lost forever.

“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” – 1 John 5:11,12.

It is a sobering message and one we have to share urgently with our generation.

“And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” – John 20:30,31.

Hi Val,I do not accept your argument re Ps2:12.The whole Ps is about the anointed one namely king David!! You are quoting selectively to prove your point.

Thank you for your comment. However, any serious student of the Scriptures is aware that Psalm 2 is what is known as a Messianic Psalm. While it has immediate reference to King David, it also has prophetic significance with reference to the Messiah. There are many Psalms like this, plus other Bible passages. e.g. Psalm 22. This is an interesting and fascinating study and I would encourage you to journey through the Messianic prophetic passages. Blessings! Val
