“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…” – Matt. 24:7.

It is not wars and rumours of wars that are the sign – but nations rising against nations and kingdom against kingdoms, ethnic violence on an unprecedented scale.

Of the hundreds of political conflicts over the years, all except two world wars have been civil or ethnic. Increasingly so in our day. The Middle East, for example, is a powerkeg just waiting to explode.

The whole world seems to be at war. All made possible by the incredible increase in knowledge and technology foretold by Daniel.

“But you Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Daniel 12:4).

Men were riding horses at the beginning of the last century – now they are planning excursions into outer space. At the present time knowledge is doubling every two years. Never in all of history has this been so. If history could be compressed into a 24 hour period, all the major discoveries would have happened in the last half-an-hour!

All the events surrounding us are happening for a purpose – to fulfil prophecy and bring about WORLD CHAOS in preparation for the reign of antiChrist and his Pseudo-Peace Plan.

The Return of Jesus Christ is closer than we think.

In the so-called “Olden Days”, people who claimed to be Jesus Christ, the Messiah, were in danger of being burned at the stake as a heretic. Today anyone can say anything and get away with it.

We have had many examples of people claiming to be Christ in our generation.

• Moon of the “Moonies” – with thousands of followers.
• David Moses (Children of God movement).
• Jim Jones – responsible for 900 suicides – “Christ reincarnated”- “God in dark glasses”.
• David Koresh from Waco, Texas.
• Father Divine – an African-American from the States who clamied to be God Almighty.
• Maitreya – late guru of the NEW AGE MOVEMENT.
• Mitch Miles, the self-professed Australian “Messiah”. (Watch him on YouTube)

There are many more.

They have one common denominator – All deny the Christ of the Bible, the ONLY ONE way to salvation.

“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12

This is the official symbol of the end-time GLOBAL RELIGION – A SPIRITUAL EQUIVALENT TO THE UNITED NATIONS!

Everyone is welcome, except the Lord Jesus Christ and His followers, dismissed as “divisive” and irrelevant.

The Inter-Faith Movement is supposed to bring unity and peace to the people of the earth, while rejecting the PRINCE OF PEACE.

No wonder the Lord says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ..” — Hosea 4:6.

False Christs .. False Prophets .. Religious Movements that promise what they cannot deliver.. but WORST OF ALL .. is the prophecy of SPIRITUAL LETHARGY AMONG BELIEVERS in the End Times.

“..Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” – Luke 18:8.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” – Matthew 24:12.

Here is a two-thousand-year old prophecy about the Last Days:

May we be delivered from RELIGION that the REALITY of a Personal Relationship and genuine Fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ may be our daily experience.

Not only will the Return of Christ be unexpected, it will happen so suddenly that no one will have time to prepare. We have to be ready now!

Ever watched lightening flash across the sky? That’s how suddenly His Return will be according to Jesus.

The Rapture will be sudden and unexpected – and so will be His Return to earth at the end of the Great Tribulation.

When all hope seems to be gone at the height of the Battle of Armageddon and the world looks set to self-destruct, Jesus will return suddenly and take control.

What a Mighty God we serve!

Many people talk about the Coming of the Lord and documentaries abound concerning the situation at the end of the world, but the Return of Christ will still take this world by surprise. Even those of us who are earnestly looking for His Appearing will be shocked at the suddenness of His Return.

This is what Jesus said:  “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”– Matthew 24:44.

We do not know the exact day or hour, but Jesus said we can know the season. The important thing is to be ready and waiting.

Have you ever been robbed or had your home broken into? We know these things go on all the time, but we never really expect them to happen to us. It is a shock because it is so unexpected.

The Return of Jesus will be just as unexpected and shocking.

“But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.” – 1 Thess. 5:1,2

“This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into Heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into Heaven.” (Acts 1:11).

His Return will be literal, personal and visible, they assured the disciples.

It is estimated that there are more than three hundred prophecies in the Bible concerning the first coming of Christ … and about eight times as many concerning His Second Coming.

The New Testament mentions it at least 318 times in 210 chapters and there can be no doubt that saints throughout the ages have always “looked for His appearing.“

There are many who claim Christ has already returned and some go as far as to claim to BE the Christ. Others say He returns in our “hearts” when we believe in Him. And still others claim He cannot return until the Church subdues the earth and invites Him back.

Jesus said we are not to believe anything people say about His Return that is not substantiated in the Scriptures. When He returns, we will know it beyond doubt. First the Church will meet Him “in the clouds” and then return with Him to stand on the Mount of Olives.

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” – Matthew 24:23,24.

Look up, believer! Soon we shall see the Lord face-to-face and enjoy His Presence for eternity.

I can’t keep my eyes off the clouds!

We are living in one of the most exciting times in this world’s history as we await the return of Jesus Christ.

Imagine an area the size of London being covered two feet deep in 50p coins. Somewhere in the middle is one with a red dot. Now, imagine a blindfolded person being given only one chance to pick up the marked coin. Impossible?

That is the same probability as just eight prophecies about the Return of Christ being literally fulfilled, estimated as one in ten to the seventh power, i.e. one with 17 zeros = 100,000,000,000,000,000. This is a number so big we cannot begin to comprehend it, but it gives us some idea of how amazing it is that so many prophecies are, in fact, being literally fulfilled today.

His Promise is certain:

“In My Father’s House are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:3, The Bible).

Jesus Christ is coming back again for His Church. First, believers will see Him as they meet the Lord in the air, known as the Rapture of the Church. Then we return with Him after the Great Tribulation when He stands on the Mount of Olives and every eye sees, every knee bows and every tongue confesses He is indeed Lord.

What a Day that will be!

Support groups exist for people struggling with all sorts of things—from mainstream issues like divorce and cancer to offbeat items like caffeine and hoarding—but many are shocked by a new community created by atheists.

The Clergy Project, formed by the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Science and Reason and the Freedom From Religion Foundation, aims to help clergy who have “seen the light” move beyond faith.

“The Clergy Project exists to provide a safe haven, a forum where clergy who have lost their faith can meet each other, exchange views, swap problems, counsel each other—for, whatever they may have lost, clergy know how to counsel and comfort,” atheist and evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins writes on the site.

Although the Clergy Project launched as a private, invitation-only website in March, it went public on Oct. 7. It started with 52 members and has grown to nearly 100. With the unveiling of the website, the group expects hundreds more.

“We know there must be thousands of clergy out there who have secretly abandoned their faith but have nowhere to turn,” Dan Barker, a former evangelical preacher, said in a statement Friday.

“Now they do have a place to meet, a true sanctuary, a congregation of those of us who have replaced faith and dogma with reason and human well-being.”

The Clergy Project was started by Barker, Dawkins, philosopher Daniel Dennett and researcher Linda LaScola.

In a study conducted by Dennett and LaScola, “Preachers Who Are Not Believers,” several pastors were interviewed in 2008 and 2009 who no longer believed what their parishioners thought they believed. The study was the source for some initial members of the project.

The administrators of The Clergy Project are both active pastors in the United States who claim to have lost their faith and are looking for an “exit strategy.” The project says the most difficult issue for these religious leaders is financial.

“It is hard to think of any other profession which it is so near to impossible to leave,” Dawkins wrote on the site in a welcome message. “If a farmer tires of the outdoor life and wants to become an accountant or a teacher or a shopkeeper, he faces difficulties, to be sure. He must learn new skills, raise money, move to another area perhaps. But he doesn’t risk losing all his friends, being cast out by his family, being ostracized by his whole community.”

The website currently features two testimonies: one from “Lynn,” who writes she is “an active Methodist pastor who is also an atheist;” and one from “John Compere,” a psychologist and former Baptist minister.

What could cause these pastors to lose their faith? It could be loneliness and discouragement. According to a recent LifeWay Research survey, 98 percent agree with the statement, “I feel privileged to be a pastor,” with 93 percent strongly agreeing. Only about 0.5 percent of pastors disagree with the statement. Still, these same pastors are keeping their faith.

“Many oft-quoted statistics speak of miserable and unhappy pastors, but that’s not what we see when we actually ask them,” explained Ed Stetzer, vice president of research and ministry development at LifeWay Christian Resources. “There is discouragement and loneliness, but when 98 percent agree it is a privilege to be a pastor, we also know there is a great honor to being a pastor.”

Could these pastors be part of the great falling away that Paul described in 2 Thess. 2:3? Or is this atheist group simply trying to exploit a rare occurrence?

In a legal brief filed with the US Supreme Court, Hillary Clinton has urged the justices not to call Jerusalem part of Israel.

At issue is the birthplace designation on passports given to US citizens born in Israel. The Administration’s policy is to require those born in the Jewish capital to have their place of birth listed as Jerusalem rather than Israel.

This rule applies to no other capital city on earth; its only purpose can only be to refuse to acknowledge that Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish state.

The Supreme Court has agreed to take up the case of nine-year-old Menachem Zivotofsky, who was born in Jerusalem in 2002. His parents want his birthplace listed as Israel.

Congress passed a law in 2004 requiring Israel be listed as the place of birth to those born in Jerusalem at their request, but the State Department headed by Hillary Clinton has refused.

They may as well say people born in London aren’t British!

The “world” seems determined to divide up the Land God gave His Chosen People, a job antiChrist will complete. “Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.” — Daniel 11:39.

How close are we to the Return of Christ and the Rapture of the Church?

Look up, believer, and tune in your ears for the trumpet blast!

Yes, the Rapture is on schedule and no amount of arguing will change God’s plan. Soon the Church will meet Him in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

“My wife is having a baby,” he said excitedly.

“That’s nice,” I responded, thinking he wanted a lift to the local hospital.

“You don’t understand,” he shouted. “She is having a baby right now in the Church kitchen.”

We rushed through the sanctuary to the kitchen and, sure enough, there she was on all fours about to give birh. The Zulu people in South Africa are a hardy folk and I knew the baby was on its way.

I ran to the little chapel and interrupted about forty folks enjoying an early morning prayer meeting.

“Come, help deliver the baby!”

I could just see the whites of forty pairs of eyes, but no-one moved.

“You’re all parents and grandparents. You’ve been there. You know what to do…” I said as panic began to set in.

“We will help!”

I turned around to see two middle-aged bachelors. They had never been married and I doubt they had ever held a baby.

“We know what to do,” they said. “We saw it on TV.”

One rushed to find some newspaper and water (he’d seen that on TV) and the other stood over the hapless lady shouting “Push.”

I was on the ‘phone to the hospital and shouting “DON’T PUSH!!!!”
at the same time.

Fortunately for all of us, the ambulance arrived on time, but it was touch and go. The contractions were really coming thick and fast – and so was the baby.

It made me realise the truth of what Jesus said. The more “Signs of the Times” we see happening in our world .. the more the world’s contractions increase .. the closer is the Return of the One Who was once The Babe of Bethlehem.

I’m looking forward to His Return with great anticipation. How about you?
